创作背景
广泛认为这首歌曲创作起因是Axl Rose与前妻Erin Everly糟糕的婚姻，虽然这点从未在专辑或采访中得到承认。乐队的说法是这首歌是Izzy写给他前女友Angela Nicoletti McCoy的。别的看法认为，其音乐MV表现的是普通男女之间破裂的关系。MV的场景是一家旅馆，乐队成员仅仅出现在几个连贯镜头中，而其他人出场了更久，然后淡出。歌迷又有了新见解，由于Rose是现枪花仅存的原始成员，MV预言般地带上了讽刺意味，MV片尾展现Rose独自坐在家里收看老枪花的录影带，气氛悲伤孤寂。
该录影带由Nigel Dick执导，也是前鼓手Steven Adler最后一次出现的录影带（即使这首歌并没有他的音轨），影片中的旅馆不能使用，并在录影带拍摄结束几天后拆除。
