创作背景
《Tik Tok》（程式化：“TiK ToK”）的音乐制作人为Dr. Luke（Lukasz Gottwald）、本杰明·莱文（Benny Blanco） ，歌曲的录制地点选在加利福尼亚的康威录音室。在此之前（2005年），Dr. Luke在制作完凯莉·克莱森的专辑《Breakaway》之后，开始向全世界宣布将征制其他歌手的专辑。前来应征的有凯蒂·佩里及Ke$ha，而Dr. Luke在听完了Ke$ha以乡村谣曲及神游舞曲风格的演示样本后，便决定选用她。Ke$ha曾透露这首歌背后的灵感来自于她在某一天，参加完一晚上的聚会之后，半醉着跌跌撞撞回家的遭遇。
